A breathtaking Read!

I opened my drawer last night... looking for miscellaneous things to sell to earn some money for my infamous Euro-trip, and I came across my old books. The original is called "Post Secret"- and the second edition is called "A Lifetime of Secrets." I couldn't possibly sell them- I forgot how much I loved them until I stayed up reading the entire thing.
You will be intrigued by these... the creator (Frank Warren) collected numerous anonymous post-cards with secrets on them, in order to allow people to write down their secrets and get "rid of them". He published some of them in the books listed- they are incredible!
You can find these books at Amazon or any local bookstore- I think they only come in hardback. But I whole-heartedly reccomend them- they are a fast read and you won't be able to shut the cover! Enjoy!

One in a million
This would be my fabulous mom, who is more nervous than I am about Europe. Can anyone say Best Mom Ever Award? I love you forever!
Quote especially for you- my biggest fan:
I love my mother as the trees love water and sunshine - she helps me grow, prosper, and reach great heights. ~Adabella Radici
Simple but concise- you deserve to know I love you!
For the Very First time!
Blogging for the very first time...
What a concept! Never in my computer-illiterate life did I ever expect to have my own blog! But alas, here I am and I must admit... I am loving it so far.
I just started a new job with Mom, working in my pajamas and in front of a computer for 6 hours every morning. I can honestly say that I miss the sun, but what crazy person is up at 7:30 am anyways?! Plus, I need money for my AWESOME Europe-trip in July. Speaking of Europe... I leave in approximately 20 days for a month-long adventure with only a backpack and not enough spending money- so exciting! Before that I have some serious hanging out with family and friends to do. A rafting trip, a 5K race for chocolate, multiple pool parties, and crazy adventures with girlfriends are all included in my summer before I go overseas.
Cabo San Lucas was incredible... I was there for 5 days with the crazy women of the family (Mom, Amy, Gma) and my best friend Courtnie, and some other B.A. females. Can you say estrogen?! The trip included a banana boat ride in shark infested waters, (probably one of my biggest fears) parasailing- also over shark infested waters- and jet skiing. CABO WABO and El Squid Roe were also worked into the picture, along with endless (but amazing) sunbathing. I came back with a tan, a new love for Mexico, and major lack of sleep. Nonetheless though, it was by far the most fun I've ever had on vacation.
It was a trip given to me from Grandma and Aunt Amy for graduation... which is a whole other story! Wow- to be graduated from high school... unbelievable. It feels like yesterday that I was a nervous freshman... coming from the sheltered life of a Charter student into the giant jaws of Public High School. I grew quickly to love it with all of my heart, met some incredible people in the process, and am now shocked to say the least that I am done. I am finally starting to realize how fast time really flies... these four years have gone by faster than I would have ever hoped or imagined. To all of you still in high-schoolers- Drink it in baby, it goes faster than you think. Noe more sappy- I seem to be really good at this lately! Normal? Eh, normalcy isn't really my style anyways! :)
Okay, I think this is enough for my first time, I don't want to get burned out. But as I depart, and think about all the fabulous friends in my life (who I appreciate more now than ever, really) I will leave you with a quote from Mr. Ralf Waldo Emerson:
"A Friend may well be reckoned the masterpiece of Nature."
Until next time, bloggers!
